PBL-SA SEC team organized PBL online Session

PBL-South Asia Sagarmatha Engineering College team (PBL_SA_SEC team) Organized an online session “ An Introduction to Problem Based Learning (PBL) Approach in Teaching and Learning” on 20th June 2021for faculties of Sagarmatha Engineering College (SEC) and Sagarmatha College of Science and Technology (SCST). In the session Mr. Ramesh Shrestha, Principal of SEC and SCST and project lead PBL-SA-SEC shared about PBL-South Asia and other similar projects that SEC are involved in and how this is helping in transforming SEC. Dr. Rabindra Raj Giri then presented about what PBL is, why its practice is important in teaching learning processes, why there is need of paradigm shift in our teaching learning process and how PBL could be incorporated in teaching learning process. In the event Mr. Avinas Dhital, from Aalto University also Highlighted the importance of Problem Based Learning. Other participants from SEC also highlighted about what similar practices they have been adopting and how those practices have helped them excel in teaching Learning approach.
