Sagarmatha Research and Development Centre (SRDC) is a multidisciplinary independent research unit established by Sagarmatha Engineering college (SEC) and Sagarmatha College of Science and Technology (SCST) for developing a research strategy to substantially increase the research productivity among students and faculty members.

The SRDC prepares and implements documents for the development of research and development activities within the Institute. The objective of R&D initiatives undertaken by Sagarmatha Engineering College (SEC) and Sagarmatha College of Science and Technology (SCST) is to build research careers, internationalize human potential, support the strengthening of the knowledge foundation, and promote the creation of new applications. Additionally, these initiatives aim to enhance the societal impact of education, research, and innovation.
