Talk program on” PBL and its importance in academia” conducted at Sagarmatha Engineering College

A talk program on “PBL and its importance in academia” was conducted on 14th Feb 2020 for students of final years. Mr. Prakash Dulal former faculty from AITM and one of the mentors for PBL pilot case was invited as guest speaker for the program. Mr. Prakash Dulal, Mr. Ramesh Shrestha, Mr. Kamal Gautam and Mr. Sudeep Lamsal presented to the students about the importance of the dealing with real world sustainability challenges and how PBL could be an essential tool for solving those problems. Mr. Dulal also shared his experience as mentor during the pilot case. Mr. Shrestha highlighted about how PBL could transform our teaching learning approach. Mr. Gautam and Mr. Lamsal then highlighted how this approach could be effectively used in Final year projects and how the students can be benefited from this approach in academics as well as after graduating.
