S S Gautam is an accomplished urban planner with a civil engineering background, specializing in teaching and professional work. With a career spanning over a decade, he has made significant contributions to the field of civil engineering education and has left an ineradicable mark on the urban planning landscape practices.

Mr. Gautam began his academic journey in 2010 AD as a teaching assistant, and his passion for imparting knowledge and shaping young minds led him to pursue a career in academia. Throughout his career, he has been associated with numerous engineering colleges under IOE, TU; PoU and PU. His exceptional teaching skills and commitment to student development have earned him recognition and praise in the academic community. Students look up to him for his expertise and guidance in complex civil engineering concepts. He has not only focused on undergraduate education but has also actively participated in postgraduate programs. He has been involved in teaching and supervising thesis projects for MSc in Engineering Management and MBA programs under PU. His commitment to fostering the growth and success of students at the postgraduate level is commendable. Apart from his academic endeavors, he has proven himself in the professional civil engineering and urban planning field. He has successfully contributed to several projects under the various agencies of GoN; DUDBC and GMaLI, CLPIU, NRA. Moreover, he has also made significant contributions as an individual consultant, working as a Team Leader on multiple projects involving the preparation of IUDP and MTMP for more than dozens of local government bodies.

Mr. Gautam continues to push the boundaries of excellence in the field of civil engineering education, combining academic expertise with practical experience to shape the next generation of urban planners and civil engineers. His unique approach to mentoring students and sharing practical insights from his professional experience sets him apart as an exceptional educator and urban planning professional. His contributions to the engineering teaching profession and his outstanding work in the urban planning sector make him a highly respected and influential figure in his field.
