Er. Subash Dhakal is a highly qualified and experienced civil engineer with a profound passion for teaching and research. With over 8 years of expertise in the field of Hydrology and Hydropower engineering, he has significantly contributed to understanding and solving the complexities of hydrological analysis and hydrologic modeling, particularly in data-scarce regions such as Nepal.

His professional journey initiated from devastating Gorkha Earthquake in 2015, where he worked tirelessly for more than 3.5 years, providing crucial support to earthquake-affected communities. In addition to his fieldwork, Er. Dhakal has made substantial contributions to academia as a Senior Lecturer at Sagarmatha Engineering College. His role as an academician is complemented by his certification as a TFI (Training for Instructor) graduate, which underscores his dedication to effective teaching methodologies. At Sagarmatha Engineering College, he continues to inspire and mentor the next generation of engineers, fostering a learning environment that bridges the gap between theoretical concepts and real-world applications.

Er. Dhakal’s research interests are deeply rooted in hydrological studies and hydropower engineering. He focuses on innovative approaches to hydrologic modeling in regions with limited data availability, striving to develop sustainable solutions that address local and global challenges. His work as an adjunct hydrologist further highlights his commitment to advancing the field through rigorous research and collaboration.
